"This year has been filled with discovery. I have been making art and traveling across the country with my family for several months - creating with limited supplies in entirely new environments. I’ve chosen to use the plant life wherever we travel in order to create this work, using a combination of cyanotype and eco-printing processes to print with leaves and flowers I’ve never worked with before.
This work has unfolded into something otherworldly that seems to whisper of the basic elements of life. I see glimpses of both large and small worlds in them, vast landscapes and microscopic cellular worlds. This time of travel has been a beautiful process of expanding and contracting creatively - learning to flow with nature's rhythms and to trust what will come." - Sarah
