Martha has recently found inspiration from stories found in myth and folklore about native plants, animals, and especially birds.
"Sacred to the Celts, a hare is often linked with the underground world of the fairies. It was a sin to kill a hare. In ancient Rome, the magpie was associated with magic and fortune telling and as a symbol of good luck and joy. “Mag” means chatterer and magpies can recognize themselves in the mirror along with some apes, Asian elephants and bottlenose dolphins."
