Memory Keepers (set of 3)

"This body of work is all about wonder in the simplest places. As a kid, I remember spending endless hours outdoors… riding bikes, building forts, making up fantasy worlds that we lived in until dinnertime. 

These pieces are an expansion on techniques I’ve been experimenting with for several years. The process involves layering eco-printing and cyanotypes along with altering the ratio of cyanotype chemicals to push the color tones - with some happy accidents along the way. Creating this work has been like swimming in that ethereal endless childlike wonder where nature and creativity keep me asking “what if?” They remind me that art-making is like an endless summer of possibility."  - Sarah Treanor
