"In these works, I aim to evoke a hopeful energy that can be found in the boldness and freedom of nature - in particular, the birds. Each artwork begins with foundational layers of my eco-prints and cyanotypes, which are digitally altered to create unique botanical
and textural underpinnings. These rich, detailed layers are then enveloped by encaustic wax, adding a distinctive texture and depth, before final details of loose, splatter marks are added." - Sarah
