Becky Story

Becky Story is a Charlotte NC based ceramic artist. Her love of clay began in 2006 when a friend asked her to take a class. That one class turned into many more, and she eventually became a studio artist at Clayworks. She now shares the joy she finds in working with clay through teaching and leading community programs, and her love of nature through her handmade ceramics. Animals are prominent in her work - especially the simplicity of a nesting bird. Becky sculpts each bird by hand, finishing them in a variety of glazes.
