"Magpies have a rich association with folklore and superstition. They are linked with prophecy based on the number traveling/flying together. In Celtic lore, it is believed that a fairy lives in a magpie’s soul. Many cultures view moths as communicators from the spiritual world. Seeing a moth flying around at night meant that one might receive an important letter. (Polyphemus moth pictured in painting)"
