Take Her Home, Dear Khu-en-ua . . .

$1,300.00

Take her home, dear Khu-en-ua, for she knew not she was a queen.

Based in Louisville KY, Sabra was creating this piece during the unrest following Breonna Taylor's death and dedicated the piece to her. Hawks represent courage, strength and power. In Egyptian mythology, Khu-en-ua is the hawk-headed steersman who conveys souls across the black waters that separate life from death.
